This is the original painting of the Mirror Mirror & Purple Heart of Sharing paintings. I like to paint on the back of my paintings because I feel it adds more to the paintings. I decided to paint the Purple Heart of Sharing painting on the back of the Mirror Mirror painting because this is my logo and this is who I am working to become. The Purple Heart shows bruises from the battles it took to have this clean slate to create who I want myself to be. The back side relates to all the things that go unnoticed as you go through life but still care for yourself with grace. Other people only see the beauty you are but not the beasts you've had to fight. I hope the new owner loves and appreciates the love and strength I have put into these paintings, they will also be able to choose which painting they feel like showing for the day.
